For baby E and his parents who shared a quiet morning with me in their new home. Even though my girls are out of this stage now, it still tugs at my heart to be around a little one at this age. Discovering their hands and feet, taking delight in music and books, nothing but smiles for mom and dad, babbling and quiet cuddles. It's just so darn cute and it goes by way too quickly.
I recently had a chance to catch up with this lovely lady and I realized that I hadn't blogged this session from last spring. Needless to say, the babes in these photos are a whole year older now. It's just another reminder of how quickly time is passing by! I'll never get tired of photographing this sweet family. Stef's maternity session can be seen here.

We're about to be hit with a final winter snowstorm. Well I'm just going to keep thinking happy thoughts of warmth and sunshine.
This session was from early September and features a fellow photographer and her beautiful family. Always an honour...
I'm easing my way back into things starting a with a few sessions this month. This was a pretty nice way to kick things off. I love Stef and her family and it is always such an honour to photograph them. It was a dull day and the rain held off just long enough for this. We laughed with relief afterwards and Ryan commented on how he actually sort of likes gloomy days. Well now I do too.
We're into February so this is a little late...
We ended 2015 with the arrival of our third baby girl. She was nearly five weeks early and thankfully I had wrapped up all of my sessions for the season and was able to hunker down to focus just on my family these past few months. Throwing a newborn into the mix means that I've had to adjust my priorities and accept that there is only so much that can be done in a day. While the beds may not be made and I can go days without washing my hair – my children are dressed, fed, and seem relatively happy so I consider this a success!
While I'm loving this time with my little ones, I am also looking forward to the sessions I have booked for this spring starting in May. If you are interested in newborn or family photos this spring or summer, please click here for details and availability.
I'd like to say that I will be blogging more soon, but seeing as it has taken me over eight weeks to post this and I am currently typing with one hand while holding a half-asleep baby, it's doubtful you will be hearing from me anytime soon :)
I photographed this sweet family last July when Baby B was just brand new! And it was so nice to spend time with them again this year, just days before B's first birthday.
I photographed this sweet family back in March when they were parents-to-be (session can be viewed here), and it was so wonderful to finally meet their new baby girl last week. We spent the afternoon catching up and admiring lovely baby I, who eventually grew bored of me and fell asleep ;-)

I love returning to families who I have already worked with – as they welcome their newest additions, reach a milestone, or document life together as a family. I love to capture their joy. I photographed this family when they had their first baby girl and it was wonderful to see them again as they welcomed a second baby girl into their family.
